A successful and fast paced commercial business, we are currently seeking a Sales Administrator to support our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an established, forward thinking business. The main function within this role will be providing quotes to customers, requiring good numeracy and a strong commercial business sense.
Responsibilities Include:
Working closely with the Sales team in order to understand customer strategies and technical information. Initially the employee will be trained and supervised on site until they reach a level where they can work independently from the Telford location. This is not a supervisory role and at all points the employee will be supervised and working with a remote team
- Be familiar with CRM and supplier systems and continually build product knowledge, understand market trends, costs and conditions.
- Build strong relationships with all internal and external staff including Sales and Suppliers in order to find creative solutions.
- You will have the ability to think on your feet and be creative in finding solutions to maximise opportunities and resolve problems and issues as they arise.
Who we're looking for:
As the Sales and administration role deals with both the general public and companies (via telephone and email) the ideal candidate will have excellent communication and relationship building skills. They must have the ability to organize and prioritize workload, display logical thinking and rational decision making from quotation to customer service.
Previous employment within a similar telesales and administration role.
Our systems are heavily technologically based so ability to quickly and effectively navigate through our Websites, payment gateways and accountancy packages are essential. Understanding of Outlook/Word/Excel and ability to read PDF drawings is required as well as being at ease with metric and imperial measurements.
There will be further Administrative duties such as labelling and sending out samples, versatility is required.
Advantageous qualities and training
Previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
H & S training
2. Gabion basket assembler.
Starting Salary £7.50- £8.37 per hour once training complete. Permanent. Hours of work 08:00 – 16:30.
The role involves clipping together gabion panels using a pneumatic tool.
Palletizing and packaging products
The candidate must have a practical numerical mind.
Ability to understand both metric and imperial information on production list.
Basic computer literacy required to fill in dispatch screen and shipping documents.
Advantageous qualities and training
Previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
